How to spot an original
Original
- Sharp print and full manufacturer details
- QR code or security sticker
- Even paintwork, neat seams
- Price similar to trusted shops
Fake
- Blurry print, typos, no company details
- No code, or a code that doesn’t work
- Sloppy paintwork, plastic smell
- Price clearly lower than anywhere else
You can check QR codes and security features (e.g. on Pop Mart boxes) on the manufacturer’s official website.
Blind boxes
I don’t open sealed blind boxes – the contents stay a surprise, just as the manufacturer intended.
Outlet
Outlet products are the same originals. The only difference is the condition of the packaging, which I always describe in the listing. See the Outlet
