Hirono After Dark Night Light Charm

Style:

After dark, Hirono slips into a disguise — a pumpkin, a ghost, a bat, a runaway bunny — and walks out of the video rental shop straight into your collection. After Dark is a series of plush charms with a tiny light inside: press the button and a glowing image appears on the wall, like a little projector. After five minutes the light switches itself off, so you can fall asleep next to it like a night light. By day, clip it to your bag or backpack. Which character you get — Hollow, Masked, Drifting By, Off Script, Runaway, Upside Down, or maybe the secret Old Dream — you'll only find out when you open the box.

Hirono: Lang - KICKOMI

Hirono: Lang

Dowiedz się więcej →

A small, silent figure. Soft form, muted colours, a calm gaze directed somewhere off to the side. Hirono — a character created by the artist Lang — doesn't shout, doesn't show off, doesn't try to grab attention. And that is exactly why it's hard to look away. Around his hero, Lang builds a narrative of introspection and silence — emotions that rarely have a place in the world of loud design. Hirono is a character somewhere between childlike sensitivity and adult reflection, between fantasy and reality. Someone who watches the world from a distance and, in that watching, says more than many a design could ever shout. What is minimalism as a language of emotion? Which collector's series make up the world of Hirono? And why can this unassuming figure tell your story better than you can yourself?
