SpongeBob: Stephen Hillenburg
Dowiedz się więcej →Stephen Hillenburg was a marine biologist and a teacher — and he made comics about creatures from the coastal rocks so his students wouldn’t fall asleep in class. Those same characters ended up at Nickelodeon. He came to the pitch in a Hawaiian shirt, with a terrarium full of models and Hawaiian music playing in the background. He got the green light. On 17 July 1999 a yellow sponge moved into a pineapple at the bottom of the ocean and changed pop culture forever. SpongeBob is memes, nostalgia and philosophy in one — because Hillenburg believed that innocence wins. And he was right.
