Miffy: Dick Bruna - KICKOMI

Miffy: Dick Bruna

Dowiedz się więcej →

Dick Bruna was on holiday in the Dutch dunes when he saw a hopping rabbit. In the evenings he told his son Sierk about it — bedtime stories about a little white rabbit. His son couldn’t say “rabbit,” so he said nijntje. And so, in 1955, Miffy was born. Two dots, a little cross, a thick black line and a few colours — because Bruna believed that more means less. A hundred million books sold in more than 50 languages. Her own museum in Utrecht. A court dispute with Hello Kitty. And every morning — a bike to the studio, ink in the ashtray, colours cut from paper. Like that, all his life.
