Genesis
Da Xin is a Chinese illustrator and art toy designer who, in 2020 — together with A Li, another illustrator from the 90s generation — created the world of Twinkle Twinkle. The starting point was a single sentence: "Stars cannot shine without darkness." Based on this philosophy, they built a fairy tale for adults who still have a child's heart — full of warmth, peace, and little star creatures that wake up at night to collect dreams.
Fairy tale world as solace
Rounded shapes, soft textures, a warm palette of gold and orange, stars and moons as a constant motif. The whole resembling an illustration from a well-remembered book — not necessarily a specific one, but familiar in mood.
