Care Bears: Elena Kucharik
Dowiedz się więcej →Elena Kucharik was commissioned to draw bears for greeting cards. Each a different colour. Each with a symbol on its belly — a rainbow, a heart, a little sun, a four-leaf clover, a rain cloud. The bears were meant to help children talk about what they feel before they had the words for it. They ended up doing it, for 40 years, better than many a grown-up. Care Bears — from cards to plush toys, from plush toys to cinemas, from cinemas to the hearts of millions of children of the ’80s and ’90s. And now they’re coming back — because those children have grown up and still need Grumpy Bear for the bad days and Cheer Bear for all the rest.
