Cry Baby: Molly (Nisa Srikumdee)
Dowiedz się więcej →Nisa Srikumdee — a Thai artist known as Molly Yllom — spent her whole childhood being told that tears were out of place. When she lost her dog Somchun in 2017, she found the only way to let it out: she drew a character with big tears on its cheeks. Not a boy, not a girl — emotion in its purest form. That's how Crybaby was born. In 2021 Nisa became the first Thai artist — and the first woman — to sign a deal with Pop Mart. Today Crybaby generates over a billion yuan a year and stands alongside Labubu and Skullpanda. Lisa of Blackpink wore it on her Louis Vuitton bag. The rest of the world followed her lead. But the heart of the story has stayed unchanged: a figure with tears that says it's okay to cry.
