Each with a symbol on its belly — a rainbow, a heart, a sun, a four-leaf clover, a rainy cloud. The bears were meant to help children express what they felt before they had the words for it. It turned out that for 40 years, they did it better than many adults. Care Bears — from cards to plush toys, from plush toys to movies, from movies to the hearts of millions of children in the 80s and 90s. And now they're back — because those children grew up and still need Grumpy Bear for bad days and Cheer Bear for all the others.
