SMISKI Toothbrush Stands (Hugging)

SMISKI Toothbrush Stands (Hugging)

Collector Figurine | Stand

The Smiski Toothbrush Stand is a little hugger for your toothbrush—it embraces it with its arms and doesn't want to let go. During the day, it's well-behaved and inconspicuous. When the lights go out, it starts to glow like a little bathroom ghost that's decided to stay for good.

The man who invented healing in a box. In 1996, Toru Soeya founded Dreams Inc. in Tokyo with one mission: relief from mental fatigue. Joy in your hands, healing in your heart. The first product was a glowing bath duck – 500,000 units in a year, the design entered the MoMA collection. Then came Sonny Angel (2004) – a cherubic boy with a themed headdress, designed as a “little boy” who watches over working women. Then Smiski (2015) – mysterious glow-in-the-dark creatures hiding in the corners of your home, only visible after the lights are out. Then Cable Bites, Coink, a cafe au lait coffee shop in Tokyo, a clothing brand. Each project grows from the same soil: it's not about function – it's about feeling better just by looking at it.
