This cat didn't come to purr. It came to scheme. Meet Wrinkle McStinkles — one of the Alley Cats, the street gang of Fugglers that plays innocent strays exactly long enough to invite itself into your home. One moment of inattention and it's already sitting on the shelf, grinning with those — yes, human — teeth, with a wrinkled face and the look of someone who just knocked over your coffee mug and has no intention of apologising.

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick - KICKOMI

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick

Learn more →

Louise McGettrick was looking for a gift for her husband and ended up with a bag of fake teeth from eBay. She sewed them into a plush bear. Her husband was horrified. For her, it was a sign she was on the right track. And so, in 2010, the Fugglers were born — “Funny Ugly Monsters” — plush monsters with human teeth, button eyes and a mission to ruin your life deliberately and with charm. No plan, no budget, no marketing. Just a bag of dentures and a sense of humour that changed the rules of the game in the world of plush toys.
