Skullpanda — All Series in Order. A Collector's Guide
There are figurines that aim to be cute. Skullpanda was never part of that family. From the beginning, it was something different — a character with an unmoving, melancholic gaze, clad in darkness like couture, suspended somewhere between a dream and what remains of it. It doesn't ask to be liked. It asks to be looked at.
Behind this character is Xiong Miao — a Chinese artist who built an entire universe for Skullpanda. Each series is a separate unveiling: a different mood, a different era, a different emotion encased in vinyl. If you collect Skullpanda or are just stepping into this world and want to know how many series there are and which one to choose — this guide will lead you through its entire history, from the first dark castle to the latest flowers.
Other figurines speak of what is pleasant. Skullpanda speaks of what is real — of longing, anxiety, loneliness, and the quiet beauty hidden within them.
How to Read Skullpanda Series
Skullpanda is not one figurine in many colors. It's a cycle of stories. Each series — Pop Mart releases several annually — has its own theme and set of designs, usually 6 to 12 variations plus a hidden secret. They are sold in blind boxes: sealed boxes where you don't know which character you'll get until you unbox it.
What sets Skullpanda apart from the rest of Pop Mart's shelf is its narrative consistency. The series are not random — they form a journey through moods and styles: gothic, impressionism, Chinese calligraphy, cinema, a feast, transience. Below, we guide you through them chronologically, because Skullpanda is best read as it was created — from the beginning.
All Skullpanda Series in Order
From its debut in 2020 to today — the most important figurine series, in the order they were introduced to the world. Most can be found at Kickomi and can be added to your collection right away.
2020 — Ancient Castle: The Beginning of a Legend
It all began here. Ancient Castle is a dark, gothic tale woven among castle walls — featuring false angels, vampires, and bell ringers. This series sold out in seconds and placed Skullpanda on the pedestal it stands on to this day. For the collector: the foundational figurine, the cornerstone of the entire universe.
The series that started the brand's true legend. A gothic tale within castle chambers — darkness that became an icon.
2021–2022 — Everyday Wonderland: Everyday Life as Emotion
Everyday Wonderland takes Skullpanda from its gothic backdrop and places it in an ordinary day — but each figurine bears the name of an emotion. The Bold, The Anxious, The Timid. It's a gallery of characters in which it's easy to recognize yourself or someone close. Less castle, more mirror.
Everyday emotions transformed into characters — each figurine is a different personality, a different state of mind in which one can see themselves.
2022 — The Warmth: The Warmth You Feel When Someone is Near
After the chill of stone comes The Warmth — a series about warmth, but not the kind from a calendar. It's about that quiet, interpersonal warmth you feel when someone is simply present and doesn't need to say anything. One of the most tender unveilings in the entire cycle.
A series about warmth that has nothing to do with temperature. About the presence of another person, when words are unnecessary.
2022 — The Mare of Animals: Dream Eaters
The Mare of Animals delves into the depths of night. It's a series about creatures that are half-dreamlike — animal characters that feed on dreams. Dark, fairy-tale-like, unsettling in the best sense. Skullpanda in its element.
Dream eaters — animal, half-dreamlike characters that feed on what you dream. Darkness woven from fairy tales.
2023 — Laid Back Tomorrow & Everyday: The Laid-Back Side of Darkness
Skullpanda can also slow down. In the lighter iterations from this period, the character settles into timelessness, in a "I'll deal with it tomorrow" mood. This is Skullpanda taken off its pedestal — still dark, but in slippers.
2023 — The Ink Plum Blossom: Ink and Blooming Plum
One of the most visually beautiful series. The Ink Plum Blossom draws from Chinese calligraphy and ink painting — each figurine is a different element of a landscape woven from black, white, and a single plum blossom. Skullpanda as a living painted scroll.
Chinese calligraphy and blooming plum — figurines like elements of an ink landscape. Black, white, and one delicate flower.
2024 — The Mirage: Between Dream and Memory
The Mirage lives in the crack — where dream, memory, and reality cease to differ. Each figurine is enclosed in its own translucent setting, like a mirage about to dissolve. A series for those who like figurines that leave more questions than answers.
The rift between dream, memory, and reality. Each figurine enclosed in a translucent mirage that will soon vanish.
2024 — The Sound: Emotions That Have Color
The Sound transforms states of mind into a collection. Joy, anger, tranquility, delight — each figurine is a different emotion, rendered without embellishment. These are not polite, sweet characters. This is Skullpanda in its most honest, raw form.
Emotions transformed into figurines — joy, anger, tranquility, delight. Skullpanda unadorned, in its sincerest form.
2024 — Tell Me What You Want: December's Bustle
As close to the holiday spirit as Skullpanda can get. Tell Me What You Want is a series about all the December hustle and bustle — wish lists, presents, and warmth despite the cold — but told in its own way, with a touch of melancholy beneath the shine.
A winter holiday series about December's hustle — wish lists and warmth despite the cold, with melancholy beneath the shine.
2024 — Winter Symphony: A Winter That Sounds
Winter Symphony is a plush series where winter becomes music. Each figurine is like a separate piece — Rock On, Rhapsody, Song of Snow — and the entire collection forms one winter concert. Soft, atmospheric, perfect for the colder months.
Winter transformed into music. Each plush figurine like a separate piece, the entire series like one winter concert.
2025 — The Paradox: A Journey Through Transformation
The Paradox tells of metamorphosis — a journey from being stuck in mud, through a cocoon, to spreading wings. Each figurine is a different stage of transformation, and the texture of some of them (rough, shimmering under light) makes them more beautiful in person than in any photo. One of the most cherished newer series.
A story of transformation — from mud, through a cocoon, to wings. Texture that shimmers more beautifully in person than in a photo.
2025 — L'impressionnisme: The Character as a Living Painting
A tribute to Impressionist painting. L'impressionnisme transforms Skullpanda into a living canvas — blurred, soft, woven from light and color. Each figurine is named like a painting's title. This is Skullpanda at the intersection of designer toy and art history — exactly where it's most beautiful.

2025 — You Found Me: The Ugly-Cute Side
One of the most beloved series in recent years. You Found Me brings a gallery of perverse, ugly-cute creatures — Pranky Peanut, Moldy Muffin, and the rest of the gang — where what is slightly off-putting turns out to be the most endearing. Also available at Kickomi as a plush doll and accessories.

2025–2026 — The Feast Begins: A Feast in Full Splendor
The Feast Begins seats Skullpanda at a set table — amidst dishes, candles, and banqueting splendor. Rich in detail, theatrical, almost baroque. A series for those who like a figurine to contain an entire spectacle.

2026 — City of Night: The City That Wakes After Dark
City of Night takes to the streets. Neon lights, darkness, and that special energy that comes alive only after dark — each figurine is a different scene from the nocturnal city. Skullpanda in its most urban, most contemporary rendition.

2026 — Petals in Four Acts: Transience Told Through Flowers
The newest, most poetic iteration. Petals in Four Acts is a story of transience and seasons of life, conveyed through flowers in four acts. Delicate, atmospheric, quiet. Also available at Kickomi in a rounded, "Pop Bean" version — perfect for a first purchase, as it's at a lower price point.

Secrets, Collaborations, and Rarity
In most Skullpanda series, a secret is hidden – a design you won't find on the official list, appearing only occasionally and most sought after by collectors. Buying an entire carton increases your chances, but guarantees nothing – it's still a lottery, and that's the point.
A separate chapter is dedicated to collaborations, where Skullpanda meets other worlds – often the most desired and fastest-disappearing items, as they combine two fan bases in one figure.
The brand's darkness meets colorful ponies. A surprising combination of two opposing worlds, where pastel and gothic find a common language.
Skullpanda's couture darkness meets mischievous Kuromi – two icons united by a love for the darker side of sweetness.
Skullpanda's dark, fashionable style meets the delicate, rosy My Melody. Unexpected tenderness where you'd expect coolness.
Skullpanda in a Nevermore Academy uniform. A meeting of two souls woven from the same dark fabric – more natural than any other collaboration.
You can always check the current status of all series and collaborations in the Skullpanda collection.
