Smiski — A Collector's Guide to All Figures and Series
They are small, greenish, and have one talent: hiding. Smiski are tiny creatures that live in the nooks and crannies of your room — on the edge of a shelf, behind a plant pot, in the gap between books. During the day, they are inconspicuous. When the lights go out, their second shift begins — because Smiski's entire body glows in the dark.
They were created by the Japanese company Dreams Inc. — the same company behind Sonny Angel. In 2025, Smiski celebrated its 10th anniversary and grew from a niche curiosity to one of the most beloved collectible series in the world. Smiski don't pose. Smiski are caught in the act — in the middle of a yawn, a nap, a stretch. That's why they are so endearing.
How Smiski blind boxes work
Smiski are sold in blind boxes — sealed boxes where you don't know which figure you'll get until you open it. This is both the charm and the frustration of collecting.
Each classic series contains 6 standard figures plus 1 secret — a rare version that only appears occasionally. A full carton (assort) usually contains 12 blind boxes. Important: buying an entire carton does not guarantee that you will collect all designs or get a secret — randomness is real, which is why some people buy single pieces to fill in gaps.

All Smiski series in order
Smiski expands with new series several times a year. Each has its own theme — an everyday situation in which small creatures play out human scenes. Below is an overview of the most important blind box series, most of which you can find at Kickomi. You can add each one to your collection right away.
The first, original collection. Smiski in its purest form — hiding in corners, in crevices, where no one looks. For a collector, it's the foundational figure, point zero of the entire story.

Smiski soaking in the tub, hiding in the foam, washing their hair. A series about the most pleasant moment of the day. The atmosphere of warm water and total relaxation.
The funniest and one of the most iconic series. Smiski caught in situations no one talks about out loud — one holds a spare roll of toilet paper just for you. Humor that disarms.
Smiski curled up under the duvet, sleeping in positions you no longer remember. A series for anyone who loves their bed more than anything else.
Tapping on keyboards, dozing at their desks, hiding behind coffee cups. The perfect desk figure for work or home office — a small ally on a Monday morning.
Smiski lying down, stretching, doing absolutely nothing and proud of it. A tribute to lazy Sundays. One of the newer, much-loved series.
Carrying boxes, getting lost among furniture, making themselves at home wherever you put them. A series with lots of narrative details — each figure tells its own moment of moving chaos.
Trying on clothes, posing, unable to decide. A series about that one morning moment when your whole wardrobe is on the bed, and you still have nothing to wear.
Doing crunches, hula-hooping, lifting weights no one told them to. For everyone who "starts on Monday." Great energy for the desk next to the yoga mat.
Frozen in poses you can't replicate, breathing deeply and pretending not to watch. A series about inner peace — and how hard it is to achieve.
Waving, cheering, and celebrating nothing much, like it's a final. Smiski who just want you to have a good day.

Secrets — the rarest Smiski and what are the chances
In each classic series, there is a hidden secret — a figure not on the official list of six designs. These are what excite collectors the most: they stand out with an unusual pose, costume, or visual joke (one of the most famous secrets is a Smiski in a pose inspired by Munch's "The Scream").
The chances of finding a secret depend on the series. Roughly:
- Older blind box series — usually about 1 in 144. This is a truly rare find.
- Newer series (e.g., Moving, Sunday, Birthday) — easier, about 1 in 72.
- Hippers — easiest, about 1 in 12.
- Strap Accessories — a separate capsule series, secret about 1 in 24.
These are estimates circulating among collectors — Dreams Inc. does not publish official probabilities. The best strategy for a secret is to buy a sealed carton, but even that doesn't guarantee it.
Straps, stands, and plushies — Smiski beyond the blind box
Smiski today are not just classic figures. The brand has grown into an entire family of products that function as everyday accessories:
- Strap Accessories — tiny charms in Smiski face-shaped capsules. You attach them to your backpack, phone, or keys. Series 4 was released in 2026.
- Toothbrush Stands — toothbrush holders where Smiski embrace, hold, or lift your toothbrush. Functional and absurdly cute.
- Plush Hugging — a larger, soft cousin of the glow-in-the-dark figures, made for cuddling.
Where to start your collection
If you're just entering the world of Smiski, don't start by hunting for secrets. Start with the series whose theme best suits you — because Smiski works best when it's where you spend your time.
