Heading to the zoo? Stay alert, because one sly, spooky creature could ruin your whole fun-packed day. This visitor from outer space has figured out that the easiest place to hide is where nobody looks for an alien: among the animals. His fur is leopard-print fleece, and his underpants have tiger stripes. Loud, tacky and proud as a peacock. Three human eyes watch the keepers, human teeth smile at the visitors, and a great escape plan is hatching in his head. He usually lurks in the big cat enclosure, pretending to be one of them and waiting for his chance to make a run for it. Better keep him clipped to you before he finds a hole in the fence.

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick
Learn more →Louise McGettrick was looking for a gift for her husband and ended up with a bag of fake teeth from eBay. She sewed them into a plush bear. Her husband was horrified. For her, it was a sign she was on the right track. And so, in 2010, the Fugglers were born — “Funny Ugly Monsters” — plush monsters with human teeth, button eyes and a mission to ruin your life deliberately and with charm. No plan, no budget, no marketing. Just a bag of dentures and a sense of humour that changed the rules of the game in the world of plush toys.
