Hardly anyone volunteers to keep a monster like this by their side day and night. But common sense rarely beats the heart, and Sasquoosh knows it all too well. His fur is purple and fluffy like a cloud at dusk, and his eyes are two different buttons, as if someone stitched him together in the dark from whatever was left in the drawer. Plus teeth, human and slightly too real. He looks soft, but his stare gives away that he has plans of his own. Safer to keep him close, clipped on for good, so he can't slip off towards trouble. Though he'll probably find it anyway. Nobody takes responsibility for what he gets up to.

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick
Learn more →Louise McGettrick was looking for a gift for her husband and ended up with a bag of fake teeth from eBay. She sewed them into a plush bear. Her husband was horrified. For her, it was a sign she was on the right track. And so, in 2010, the Fugglers were born — “Funny Ugly Monsters” — plush monsters with human teeth, button eyes and a mission to ruin your life deliberately and with charm. No plan, no budget, no marketing. Just a bag of dentures and a sense of humour that changed the rules of the game in the world of plush toys.
