White as the first snow and just as treacherous. In this edition, Sasquoosh looks like a fluffy snowdrift where someone left two buttons instead of eyes and a very wide grin. His fur is white and fluffy like whipped cream on top of a dessert, his eyes are mismatched buttons, one orange swirl and one yellow, and human teeth peek out of his dark mouth. Add red flowery underpants, as if he had just come back from a Hawaiian holiday and had no intention of forgetting it. From afar he could pass for an innocent snowman. Up close you can see he has plans of his own, and none of them involve building snowballs. Best to clip him to yourself before he blends into the winter landscape and disappears along with your gloves.

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick
Learn more →Louise McGettrick was looking for a gift for her husband and ended up with a bag of fake teeth from eBay. She sewed them into a plush bear. Her husband was horrified. For her, it was a sign she was on the right track. And so, in 2010, the Fugglers were born — “Funny Ugly Monsters” — plush monsters with human teeth, button eyes and a mission to ruin your life deliberately and with charm. No plan, no budget, no marketing. Just a bag of dentures and a sense of humour that changed the rules of the game in the world of plush toys.
