Who would want such a little screamer around 24/7? Quite a lot of people, it turns out, and Screech is happy to take advantage of it. He has long blue fur, windswept as if a gale had just passed through, and round ears that hear everything, even a bag of crisps being opened in the next room. His eyes are wide open, as if he had just seen something he shouldn't have, and his grin is full of human teeth. He didn't get his name by accident. For the sake of peace and quiet, it's best to clip him to yourself and keep him close, so at least you know where the noise is coming from. Silence is not guaranteed, though, and nobody takes responsibility for his antics.

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick
Learn more →Louise McGettrick was looking for a gift for her husband and ended up with a bag of fake teeth from eBay. She sewed them into a plush bear. Her husband was horrified. For her, it was a sign she was on the right track. And so, in 2010, the Fugglers were born — “Funny Ugly Monsters” — plush monsters with human teeth, button eyes and a mission to ruin your life deliberately and with charm. No plan, no budget, no marketing. Just a bag of dentures and a sense of humour that changed the rules of the game in the world of plush toys.
