Who in their right mind invites a creature with a hole in his teeth and a dodgy reputation to move in for good? The answer: more people than you'd think. Gaptooth McGoo is already waiting for them with a wide, gap-toothed grin. His fur is blue tie-dye, fluffy and spilled out like the ocean on a postcard printed crooked. His eyes are wide and dark like two bottomless wells where thoughts easily get lost. And in his grin, human teeth, with one gap he whistles through when he's plotting something. Best worn clipped to you, so his plans don't stray out of sight. Though the wildest ones will come true anyway. Nobody takes responsibility for his antics.

Fuggler: Louise McGettrick
Learn more →Louise McGettrick was looking for a gift for her husband and ended up with a bag of fake teeth from eBay. She sewed them into a plush bear. Her husband was horrified. For her, it was a sign she was on the right track. And so, in 2010, the Fugglers were born — “Funny Ugly Monsters” — plush monsters with human teeth, button eyes and a mission to ruin your life deliberately and with charm. No plan, no budget, no marketing. Just a bag of dentures and a sense of humour that changed the rules of the game in the world of plush toys.
