Keeping a creature by your side day and night whose name literally means “reek”? Sounds like a bad idea. And yet there are takers, and Reek-O welcomes them with open arms and a faint whiff in the air. His fur is green and fuzzy like moss on a stone that has lain in the shade for years and never said a word to anyone. Three wide-open eyes see more than you'd care to show, and round ears hear every bit of gossip. Plus human teeth and a suspiciously smug smile. The sensible thing is to clip him to you and keep him close. At least you'll know where that smell is coming from. Nobody takes responsibility for the aura he leaves behind.
